Separate training facilities are provided for Research Officers, Drivers and other officers. Training provided for Drivers is very timely and it consists of two parts called Theory and Practice.

Following targets are anticipated to be met by conducting these programs

  • Building up proper public relations between the general public and public institutions in terms of good governance
  • Raising awareness among them on parliamentary procedures, various Parliamentary Committees and responsibilities of the Hon. Members of Parliament
  • Providing assistance to the Hon. Members of Parliament by enabling them to provide an effective and efficient public service by maintaining a proper official system by using productivity concepts together with sound public relations and office procedures.
  • Assisting Members of Parliament for decentralized budget management
  • Offering guidance for the Members' staff to create positive relations with their duties in this Ministry.
  • Raising awareness among staff members on salaries, allowances, advances, gratuities they are entitled to
  • Raising awareness on running and maintenance of office equipment
  • Role of Field Officers attached to Government Offices at Provincial, District and Divisional levels in proper reference of the general public visiting the Hon. Member of Parliament to get their problems solved.
