We are dedicated to perform the duties of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs with responsibility and recognize the significance of its functions according to the national as well as internationally recognized policies.

We are responsible for the implementation of policies, plans and programmers in respect of services provided by the Members of Parliament to the public more productively and to provide material support and assistance to the Members of Parliament who aspire to depart from confrontational politics and whose priority is to achieve everlasting peace, as this is also the aspiration of all Sri Lankans. In addition to the traditional role of the Ministry, we also aspire to actively participate in the development programmers the country.

Our aim is to provide equality of services to all members, regardless of the background of their political philosophy and other differences. It is our responsibility to do so and we hope to assist and coordinate activities be teen Members with meaningful public relations when there is a need.
